It was great to participate in the Conference on « The European Account Preservation Order – Six Years On » at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan on 3 March 2023. I spoke on whether the EAPO should be revised, and how.
It was a pleasure to participate in the conference held in Metz on December 1st, 2022, on the requirement of internationality to trigger the application of private international law rules (L’internationalité du litige) and to present on the application of the requirement in contractual matters.
The EAPIL Working Group on International Property Law held its second meeting in Luxembourg on 6-8 October 2022.
I was delighted to participate in the conference organised by the Faculty of Law of the University of Strasbourg on Article 145 of the French Code of Civil Procedure on September 30th, 2022, and discuss the European regime of the protective measures related to the collection of evidence.
The Max Planck Institute Luxembourg hosted a conference on September 9th, 2022, to discuss some of preliminary findings of the EAPIL Working Group on the Reform of the Brussels Ibis Regulation. The programme of the conference can be found here. A report on the conference is available here.
It was great to give the keynote speech in the event organised by the Club Español del Arbitraje and Woman Way in Arbitration – WWA LATAM on Arbitration as Default Jurisdiction on May 26th, 2022.
I was delighted to speak in the Judgtrust conference organised by the Asser Institute on April 21st, 2022 on Revised rules on recognition and enforcement: abolishing exequatur and provisional measures enforceable under the Brussels Ia Regulation.
